About the data
Every project on this site comes from one source: the Kwara State project register for 2019–2026. Nothing is estimated, nothing is added, and every project page prints the register sheet and row it came from so any figure here can be checked against the source.

Why the Local Government Area totals add up to more than the register
3 rows in the register sit on its ‘State Wide’ sheet but name the specific Local Government Areas they were delivered in — prepaid meters at three waterworks, two borehole programmes. Each is published in every Local Government Area it names, which is 9 appearances from 3 rows. That is why the Local Government Area totals sum to 1,404 rather than to the register’s own row count. No project is counted twice within a single Local Government Area, and no statewide programme is ever added into a Local Government Area’s total.
What is held back
9 register rows count facilities or locations without naming them — ‘34 transformers at 34 locations’, ‘400 solar streetlights’. They plainly landed somewhere, but the register does not say where, so placing them in a Local Government Area would be a guess. They are held out of every count on this site until the ministry supplies the site list. Each one is listed, with what it is waiting for, on Across all 16.
Corrections applied over the register
Two sets of corrections sit on top of the register, both from the ministries themselves. 34 projects that the register lists as ongoing were confirmed completed after it was compiled, and this site shows the confirmed status, not the older one. 137 road lengths were verified against the Ministry of Works returns; where the return and the register disagreed, the lower of the two figures was used.
‘Construction of Jebba Waterworks’ in Moro is dated 2024, from its commissioning plaque of 29 May 2024 (the register gives 2020, when work began).
Ilorin city, which is not one Local Government Area
30 rows are filed against ‘Ilorin Metropolis’ rather than a local government: drainage clearing, water mains, road maintenance and street lighting across the city. Several name roads that run through two or three Local Government Areas at once, so no single one of them is the right answer. These are carried on the Kwara Central district page, where the city sits, and are never added into any Local Government Area’s total.
Projects without a page
One row sits on an ‘Others’ sheet: the renovation of the Kwara State Liaison Office in Asokoro, Abuja. It is a Kwara State project, but it is not in Kwara, so it belongs to no Local Government Area and no district. It is counted in the register total above and has no page.
Ordering, and what ‘impact’ means
Lists on this site put photographed projects first, then order by an impact score from 1 to 10. The score is a judgement about how much a project matters to the people it serves, not a measure of cost: a landmark the whole state knows scores 9 or 10, a major facility or a long road 7 or 8, a significant local asset 5 or 6, a routine delivery 3 or 4, supplies and minor works 1 or 2. The score changes the order things appear in. It never changes a count, a status or a title.
Photographs
Every photograph was taken on site. None is a render, a stock image or a photograph of another project. Projects with no photograph are listed as rows rather than as cards with an empty box, so the absence is visible rather than disguised. 59 of 1,404 projects currently have photographs on file; more are being matched to their register rows.
Titles
Project titles are printed as they are filed in the register, with only house typography applied — capitalisation, units, and obvious source typos. No project has been renamed, none has been moved between Local Government Areas, and none has been added.
